The color vermilion continues to preoccupy me. This series on paper begins with a painted vermilion form on which I draw using white transfer paper, further developing a visual vocabulary, limiting the media while expanding the language. Acrylic and transfer pigment on paper, 2016.

The work was shown in 2019 as large archival pigment prints, ranging from 5’ x 5’ to 5’ x 22’, at Desai Matta Gallery, San Francisco.
